Inaki Williams: Everyone in Spanish football 'sees through' Getafe boss Jose Bordalas

Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams and Getafe manager Jose Bordalas launched a verbal assault on each other after an ill-tempered match on Wednesday evening.

Williams criticised Bordalas' tactics, accusing him of playing negative football during the game which ended in a 2-2 draw at San Mames Barria Stadium.

"I don't like this type of football. You feel powerless when the game stops like this all the time," said Williams.

"Everyone in Primera sees through him and knows what his team plays at. It's legal, but many of us don't like it."

Bordalas responded by accusing Williams of being disrespectful and insulting him.

"What Inaki Williams said about me was opportunistic and his words are out of order," said Bordalas.

"What he should say is the insult he said to me, which was serious."

Bordalas was also sent off during the match after entering the field of play to confront Williams.

"It was completely unfair," Bordalas said of his red card.

"I have nothing more to say about it. The referee didn't even explain his decision to me."

Getafe have also released a statement complaining about chants disrespecting their players and staff, which they believe to be unacceptable.
