Europa Conference League news: Leicester City draw unbeaten French side in last 16 stage

Leicester City will take on Ligue 1 outfit Stade Rennais in the round-of-16 stage of the Europa Conference League.
With the Foxes struggling for results in the Premier League, the third-tier European competition appears to be their only route into next year's edition of the Europa League.
However, in order to progress into the Europa Conference League quarter-final, Leicester will first have to find a way past Stade Rennais - a side unbeaten in the inaugural ECL campaign.
The French side won four of their six group games, including the 3-0 walkover against Tottenham. The automatic win was awarded after Spurs failed to host their return group game due to a high number of Covid-19 cases in their squad.
Les Rennais have a habit of giving English clubs cause for concern, having held Spurs to a 2-2 draw earlier this season, and beating Arsenal 3-1 back in 2019.
Last season, Brendan Rodgers' side reached the knockout stage of the Europa League, but were knocked out in the round-of-32 by Czech outfit Slavia Prague.
Jose Mourinho set for Dutch challenge
AS Roma are the only Italian representatives in the knockout stages of the competition, and they will face Dutch side Vitesse in the last 16.
Jose Mourinho has a strong record against Dutch opposition having won eight of his nine games - including seven victories over Ajax Amsterdam.
