England: Declan Rice misses training as Three Lions prepare for World Cup quarter-final with France
Declan Rice missed England's training session on Wednesday as the team prepares for Saturday’s World Cup quarter-final against France.
The Three Lions progressed to the last eight following a 3-0 victory over Senegal on Sunday.
Goals from Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka sealed the win after a shaky opening to the match.
The attention now turns to a French side who cruised to a 3-1 victory over Poland in their round-of-16 clash.
England's preparations for the mouth-watering encounter with Les Bleus saw Rice miss training through illness.
The 23-year-old has started all four games for Gareth Southgate's side in Qatar but was absent from the session at Al Wakrah Sports Complex.
Striker Callum Wilson also sat out as he recovers from a minor muscle strain.
There were 22 players involved in the session.
Ben White left last week due to a personal issue and Raheem Sterling headed back to England ahead of the last-16 win against Senegal due to a family matter.
