Championship: Leicester City held at Ipswich, Southampton demolish Swansea, Leeds United drama

Jannik Vestergaard’s stoppage-time own goal rescued Ipswich a 1-1 draw against Leicester in the top-of-the-table Championship clash at Portman Road.

Stephy Mavididi hit a stunning curling effort into the bottom corner in the 24th minute and it looked to be the decisive goal until Sam Morsy’s strike took a deflection off Vestergaard at the death.

The draw kept the second-placed Tractor Boys, who lost 4-0 at Leeds on Saturday, six points off leaders Leicester.

Southampton cut the gap to Ipswich to five points after Ryan Fraser’s double in the 5-0 rout of Swansea extended their unbeaten run to 16 matches.
