Everton v Man Utd predicted line-ups, how to watch, team news, referee and stats

Everton manager David Moyes

David Moyes will be looking to pile more misery on his former employers when in-form Everton welcome struggling Manchester United to Goodison Park (Saturday, 1230 GMT).

The Toffees started the year as relegation candidates and their first half of the season certainly lived up to that billing.

However, since the return of Moyes, Everton have seen a tremendous up-turn in form. The Merseyside outfit are currently unbeaten in five Premier League games, winning four of them.

United, on the other hand, have hit their latest road bump in their rocky season and are coming into this game on the back of successive league defeats.

Crystal Palace and Tottenham both got the better of the Red Devils who failed to score a single goal.

The pressure continues to mount on new manager Ruben Amorim – something that Moyes is all too familiar with following his eight-month spell at Old Trafford over a decade ago now.

Despite this, there will be no room for sympathy on Saturday as Everton look to end their six-match losing run to United.

Everton team news

Abdoulaye Doucoure is back in action for the Toffees after serving his one-match suspension against Crystal Palace.

In worse news for Moyes, Iliman Ndiaye, Dwight McNeil, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Armanto Broja and Orel Mangala are all out with injuries.

Nathan Petterson is a doubt for the match having missed the last three games due to a hamstring problem.

Youssef Chermiti is yet to make an appearance this season due to an ongoing foot injury. While the 20-year-old is on the mend, he is unlikely to feature against United.

Seamus Coleman is also expected to miss out with a calf problem.

Everton predicted line-up

Pickford - O'Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko - Lindstrom, Gueye, Garner, Alcaraz, Harrison - Beto

Man United team news

Man United have had a real nightmare in the injury department over recent weeks.

Amad Diallo’s season is over with the 22-year-old joining the likes of Lisandro Martinez, Mason Mount, Jonny Evans and Luke Shaw on the sidelines.

Kobbie Mainoo is out for another six weeks after picking up a muscular injury, while Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer are questionable.

On a positive note, Christian Eriksen and Leny Yoro should be available after missing last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Tottenham through illness.

Man Utd predicted line-up

Onana – Yoro, Maguire, de Ligt – Dorgu, Ugarte, Fernandes, Dalot – Garnacho, Zirkzee - Hojlund

Everton to win and BTTS – 17/4

Bearing in mind Everton’s improving form, Man United’s struggles and the injury crisis at Old Trafford, we’re backing the Toffees to win. However, considering Moyes’ men have conceded goals in their last three matches, BTTS is the way to go.

Beto to score anytime – 12/5

The Everton forward has gone goal mad in recent weeks, scoring four goals across his last three Premier League appearances. We’re backing the 27-year-old to add to his tally.
