Aston Villa v Chelsea: Predictions, tips and free bet builder as Blues aim to ease slump at Villa Park

Saturday evening's Premier League fixture brings us two sides still in the hunt for a seat at next season's Champions League table as Chelsea travel to Aston Villa on February 22 (1730 GMT).
Enzo Maresca's Chelsea make the trip to the Midlands with all the lumpy form of a carton of milk that's been left on the radiator for a few days.
Despite the thrilling 2-2 draw with Liverpool in midweek, Unai Emery's Aston Villa are hardly sparkling in the form stakes either.
This is the tale of two dairy products that are going off and if they don't buck up their ideas they'll miss out on Europe altogether.
Here we take a closer look at Sunday’s tips for Aston Villa v Chelsea and pick out some of the best bets which, if put together in a bet builder, will draw in odds of around 18/1.
Good luck and please gamble responsibly.

Aston Villa v Chelsea bet builder
Both teams to score - yes - 2/5
Over 2.5 cards - 1/20
Marcus Rashford to score or assist - 8/5
Youri Tielemans one or more shots - 3/10
Match result - draw
Chelsea have only won once in the last four across all competitions, had their pants pulled down by Brighton twice in under a week and haven't won away in five.
Meanwhile, Villa are unbeaten in the last 13 at home and have only lost five in 44 at Villa Park.
Sounds like a home banker doesn't it? Well, actually no.
Villa are five games without a league win and come into this game having drawn four of their last five Premier League matches.
Add to this that Chelsea haven't lost to Villa in their last four visits, and have not lost to them in four games across all competitions, this smells like a draw.
Both teams to score - yes
Villa haven't kept a clean sheet in eight, and Chelsea in six so we are not expecting a goalless stalemate.
Both teams to score has landed in five of Villa's, and Chelsea's, last six matches across all competitions.
However, be aware six of the last eight games between Villa and Chelsea have seen at least one side keep a clean sheet, so you need to consider this bet carefully.
Over 2.5 goals
If this match doesn't have plenty of goals we will be surprised.
Over 2.5 goals has been successful in Chelsea's last five games in the Premier League, and in seven across all competitions.
At Villa Park over 2.5 goals has landed in seven of the last eight against Chelsea, with the Blues netting at least two goals in seven of the last eight too.
Over 2.5 cards
There's a lot of thunder in both team's midfields.
Chelsea have picked up the most yellow cards this season with 71, while Villa have 52.
There's also a good mix of tough tacklers in this match with Moises Caicedo wracking up 52 fouls in 25 games and seven yellows.
Enzo Fernandez has picked up two yellows in his last two league games to take his tally to five, and he's still behind Levi Colwill, Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana and Pedro Neto in the card table.
Villa are no angels either, with Morgan Rogers on eight cards and 39 fouls. Tielemans also gets stuck in, he has 34 fouls this season.
Maybe over 2.5 cards is too conservative.
Tielemans one or more shot
Tielemans is a reliable bet for a shot on goal, the crowd are always keen to encourage him when a bit of space opens up on the edge of the area.
He netted only his second Premier League goal of the season against Liverpool in midweek so will be keen to have another crack.
The Belgian midfielder has an average of 1.01 shots per 90 minutes through the season, and has attempted at least on shot in the last eight consecutive games.
Marcus Rashford to score or assist
Marcus Rashford has been lively since his switch from Manchester United at the end of the transfer window, but is yet to trouble the scorers when it comes to a goal or an assist.
He has shown flashes of the old Rashford and the more his confidence builds at Villa Park, the more he'll get involved in a goal.
With the prediction of a high scoring game, and Chelsea struggling to keep a clean sheet, we think this could be Rashford's moment.
