Brad Collins swaps Barnsley for Coventry after signing a three-year contract
Goalkeeper Brad Collins is making the step up from League One to the Championship after signing for Coventry City for an undisclosed fee from Barnsley.
Coventry have signed goalkeeper Brad Collins from Barnsley for an undisclosed fee.
The Southampton-born 26-year-old, who made 117 appearances for Barnsley in all competitions after arriving from Chelsea in 2019, has agreed a three-year deal.
Sky Blues boss Mark Robins told the club's official website: "We are delighted to welcome Brad to Coventry City in another important transfer as we build our squad for next season.
"He has great pedigree and excellent goalkeeping ability and his time with Barnsley - plus his loan spells - has given him good experience, while still being relatively young for a keeper."
Collins has had previous loan spells at Forest Green and Burton after progressing through Chelsea's academy.
Coventry have also signed striker Ellis Simms from Everton and Japan midfielder Tatsuhiro Sakamoto from KV Oostende after losing to Luton on penalties in the Sky Bet Championship play-off final in May.
