MARKING CANYON (2) clocked-in third behind Tap Rock last time out in stakes class at this track (Dirt) over 6½f. Excellent record here having never missed the placings in four starts, including two wins and two placings. Leading contender. ANTONIOS MARK (3) lifted strongly to score by 0.1 lengths two runs back at this track (Dirt) then ran sixth over 6f at Listed level at this track (Dirt) last time in tougher grade. Form here at this distance is sound with two wins and three minor placings from six starts. Well placed and should be in the finish. HIGHER ED (11) is a progressive three-year-old gelding who resumes from a break of seven months, his last appearance being a win over 6½f in stakes class at Sunray Park (Dirt). Has never missed the frame when fresh from a lay-off in two starts. Christian Ramos who has three wins when partnering stays on. One of the contenders. ONE MARK (5) is back at the races for the first time since March 8. Scored over 6f at Ruidoso Downs to launch the last campaign. Can make his presence felt.
