BERTANI (2) was well supported on debut last start and turned in a strong effort to finish third over 5f at this track (Dirt). Big chance based on that effort. APURO (1) is close to a win at the fourth run back from a lay-off, the latest effort a second over 5f at this track (Dirt). Should be poised just off the lead. Expecting a bold showing. BIJOU BEAR (7) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing second last time when he was prominent throughout over 5½f at Remington Park (Dirt). Meets some better types this time but another big run is on the cards. GONZAGA (4) is a promising type who was in the placings on debut before a fourth last time over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Should park just off the speed. One of the better hopes.
