WRITEY O'PAL (1) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 7f at Pakenham. Should be prominent again from the low draw. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. SAMBUCUS (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 9 lengths when fifth in a 7f contest at Pakenham a week-and-a-half ago. Likely improver with strong prospects. KENTAHTEN (6) strode forward early from his wide draw when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7½f at this track only to fade late and finish fourth. Another bold showing is expected. WAILUA (3) turned things around last start and landed the prize by 2 lengths over 1m at Hanging Rock. Nicely placed to keep the ball rolling.
