YORKSHIRE (4) raced on the speed when resuming last start and battled on well but found one better over 6½f at Randwick. Has a great record at this journey with three wins from five starts and will play a prominent role. GRAND IMPACT (1) gave a great sight last time over 7f at Pakenham when he raced up on the pace and fought on gamely only to be narrowly beaten. Can improve enough to win this. RAVELLO (12) is a distance specialist who did little and finished 4 lengths from the winner in eighth over 7f at Randwick last start, a less impressive effort than his seventh at Randwick the run before. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. WEST OF AFRICA (2) did his best work late and finished third last time over 6½f at Randwick when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 1.5 lengths. Ready to go a couple better.
