IOWNA MERC (1) gave away a start then stormed home to win over 6f in the LR Canterbury Classic (Satellite Stakes) last time out. Will find this much easier. Leading contender. GRAND IMPACT (8) improved last time out, finishing a neck from the winner in third at the end of 7f at Pakenham. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is up to the task. EXCELLADUS (6) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 7f at Randwick. Must be included. ELETTRICA (5) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.6 lengths from the winner in second over 7f at Randwick. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role.
