GALLOPING GURU (1) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for third last start over 1m4 1f at Cranbourne, making it two minor placings in a row. Finds a suitable race and can take the next step and salute. VADARCHIE (6) drifted well back before winding up strongly to score an effortless 4 lengths win over 1m3f at this track last time out. Will drift back but should be in the finish again. THE STORYTELLER (7) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.3 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m4f at Bendigo after being in the firing line on the turn. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role. HIS ZEDNESS (5) showed good early speed and led into the straight before fading to finish seventh, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 1m2 3/4f at Terang. Can give backers a sight.
