WHATTA WHITT (12) finished second when resuming at Beaudesert then couldn't repeat the dose last time when fourth at Gatton over 5½f when beaten 7 lengths. The blinkers go on. Nicely placed to open his account. POW NOW (8) is a four-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 17 lengths when tenth over 6f at Toowoomba. Will take a lot from that hitout and looks a strong chance to break through. A SIP FOR SLIPPY (7) could only manage to finish fifth, beaten 4.5 lengths, after being in the firing line on the bend at her latest appearance over 4f at this track. Worth including in this suitable contest.
