SCUD (9) was far from disgraced when sixth last start over 6¾f at Doomben, beaten 2.75 lengths after she made late ground. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Has the talent to take care of this field. SUPER DUCK (3) was prominent from the outset and fought on for third last start over 6f at Murwillumbah, making it two minor placings in a row. Settles close to the speed. Tackling a more suitable race so he is perfectly placed to score. BOSTON CITY (5) is a distance specialist who turned things around last start and got the job done by 2 lengths after being prominent at the corner over 5½f at this track. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is good enough to cope. DISCERNING (10) was beaten 6 lengths into ninth in a 1m1/4f contest at Doomben last time out. No surprise to see her in the frame.
