PASSEGGIATA (3) strode forward early from her wide draw over 5½f at Rosehill last time, leading into the straight but fading right out of it to finish tenth. Goes well at this journey with two wins and two placings from six starts and is a key runner. MANWE (6) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Canterbury but couldn't back it up last start when sixth, beaten 9 lengths, over 6¼f at Randwick Kensington. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. RANTAN (7) was far from disgraced when fifth last start over 5½f at Canterbury, beaten 1.5 lengths after she made late ground. That followed a win at Hawkesbury the start prior. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot make amends. COSMONOVA (2) was in great form at the end of the last campaign with back-to-back wins, the latest over 6f at Rosehill four-and-a-half months ago. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Not to be discounted.
