POMODORO'S JET (2) is an honest type who impressed last time, scoring by 5.5 lengths over 7f81yards at Vaal. This is his optimum trip with four wins from six starts and should prove tough to beat. STORM BRASCO (8) resumed over 7f at this track last start and was too good for his rivals, scoring by a neck. Fitter for that last hitout and looks a big threat to the top selection. CHESTNUT BOMBER (10) is a talented gelding who was well held last time in tougher grade over 1m in the G2 Dingaans at this track. Has the pace and the right draw to find a good early position. Will give backers a great sight. TEXAS RED (1) fought on for second last start over 1m at this track, beaten 3 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
