MOUNTAIN HIGH (10) did a good job last start to finish second at Vaal over 7¼f, beaten a long neck. Should be at her peak now. Is yet to break through this campaign but is racing well, finishing in the money at all three starts. Best form puts her right in this. SPIRITO SELVAGGIO (2) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 7¼f at Vaal. Nicely placed to take this out. HONG KONG LUCKY (7) resumes after failing to impress on debut running 6 lengths behind Hair Trigger at Turffontein Inside over 6f. Has definite claims. THE ULTIMATE KING (9) turned in a moderate debut over 1m at this track on November 11 when he was safely held in seventh, 13 lengths from the winner. Open to plenty of improvement. Must be respected.
