FASTNET FILLY (9) turned in a fine effort to win by 2.25 lengths at this course and distance when when resuming from a break last start. Nicely placed to keep the ball rolling. AMPERSAND (3) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 7¼f at Turffontein Inside after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. PASSAGE OF POWER (1) has not won for a long while. Last raced on October 10 when beaten 10 lengths into 11th at Vaal over 7f. Likely improver with strong prospects. COMING IN HOT (4) was far from disgraced when third last start over 5½f at Vaal. That followed a win at Vaal the start prior. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
