MISS LIA (5) got home by just 0.8 lengths at her latest appearance over 6f at Vaal. Nice weight drop so she is a leading contender again. PALACE DANCER (8) has been in good form, scoring three back at Vaal then placing twice in a row, most recently finishing second over 7¼f at Turffontein Inside. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. GREENHOUSE (10) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by 0.8 lengths over 7¼f at Vaal. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Jumps from a wide draw but she cannot be underestimated. KISSING MACHINE (1) is back after a break of six-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 7f at this track. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
