The engagement of Gavin Lerena is noteworthy. Placed to advantage and can make his presence felt. BIRTHRIGHT (5) is yet to find the winners' list this time in work but has three placings from four appearances this prep, finishing 1.3 lengths away in third most recently over 1m1f at this track. Great chance to take this out. PANNING GOLD (9) fought on to score a narrow win at Turffontein Inside over this trip at his last appearance on October 22. Drops significantly in the weights so he should run well. CELTIC RUSH (8) is coming off a last-start fourth, beaten 1.1 lengths, over 1m1/2f at Vaal. Should be involved in the finish.
