COSMIC STAR (1) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths starting at 6/1. Worth noting Gavin Lerena goes aboard. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. KARANGETANG (2) finished sixth two runs back at Vaal then improved last time out to score by 1.75 lengths over 5f at Turffontein Inside. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race. VIRGINIA BEACH (7) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest at Vaal over 5f. Calvin Habib who has two wins when partnering stays on. Sure to be competitive. ROLLWITHTHEPUNCHES (5) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at Vaal, beaten half a length. This looks a good race for him and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
