LADY ELLIOT (1) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 7¼f at Vaal, finishing fourth and beaten 2.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. RED CARPET GIRL (5) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Vaal, finishing third and only 1.3 lengths from the winner at the end of 6f. Likely improver with strong prospects. TWICE AS WILD (7) last appeared two-and-a-half weeks ago over 7¼f at Vaal when she finished seventh. This is her first run for the Grant Maroun stable. Comes here with definite top-three claims. CAN'T CATCH ME (8) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing tenth at Vaal over 7¼f. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish.
