FIFTH OF JULY (7) was always forward and boxed on to finish third over 1m at Vaal last time. Should be prominent from the outset. Sure to be in the finish. DIESEL'S SHADOW (9) finished fifth over 1m at this track at his most recent appearance on February 8. Has ability and should be right in the finish. CARNELO (13) started at 11/4 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 5.5 lengths at Vaal over 1m. Worth noting Calvin Habib goes aboard. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. HIS MASTER'S VOICE (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1f at Vaal, beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth. Capable of featuring prominently.
