PENDRAGON (3) ran below expectations last time at Vaal, finishing eighth and beaten 5.5 lengths starting at 11/2. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. LIFE GOES ON (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Vaal, beaten 3.5 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time. FENNEC FOX (4) turned things around last start and got the job done by 0.8 lengths over 5f at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. THE NAVY LARK (1) ran well despite being friendless in betting last time over 6f at Vaal, finishing fourth and beaten 1.5 lengths at 25/1. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Deserves respect on best figures.
