OBLIQUITY (14) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by a neck over 6f at this track. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins from five outings. Sure to go well again. UNDER THE LIMIT (1) sat on the pace last time and recorded the second minor placing from as many runs this prep, finishing 4.5 lengths back in third over 6¼f at Cairns. Ready to peak. KING SAMUEL (5) could only manage fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 7¾f at Mackay, beaten only half a length after being in the firing line on the turn. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. LAST ROYAL (12) has three placings from four runs this campaign and last start finished a nose from the winner in second over 7½f at Innisfail. One of the main contenders.
