DEER HUNTER (1) turned in a much better effort last start when beaten only 0.7 lengths into second at this track over 7f. Backmarker who gets home hard. Best form puts him right in this. RATALOUIE (4) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 7f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth. Nicely placed to take this out. KAISA (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.75 lengths from the winner in third over 7¾f at Mackay. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. FAIRYBOWER FLYER (9) progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 6f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. This looks a good race for her and she is one of the key runners.
