Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. STORMY LEGEND (4) returns after a break of six months. Has won three on end, the latest over 6¼f at Cairns. Ryan Wiggins aboard again and should be in the finish. WELL IN SIGHT (5) pushed forward and went on to record a determined win last start by 2.5 lengths over 4¾f at Cairns. Will be handy in running despite the tricky draw. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. VIBURNUM (10) was in contention on the corner and finished third last start over 5f at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a big run.
