SPEED LEGEND (3) clocked-in third behind Acrobatic last time out at this track over 7f. Has a terrific record here with three wins and one placing from four starts. Leading contender. Multiple Group 1 placegetter OLYMPIC KORCHNOI (5) started at 11/4 last time on the back of a win at this track two starts ago but was below his best, finishing fifth over 1m at this track after being prominent at the corner. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves another chance. INVESTOR (7) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 13 when beaten 1.75 lengths into fourth at this track over 7f. Graham Kliese gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Hard to beat in this suitable race. DEVIL KICK (4) won at Rockhampton two starts ago but was below her best at a more recent appearance, finishing fifth over 1m1f at Mackay. Finds a nice race and can atone.
