WICKLOW LASS (9) bounced back last start and got the job done by 0.7 lengths over 5f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. YAMABUSHI (3) booted up from the inside draw to sit on the speed last start then stuck on well to finish 2.5 lengths away in third over 4¾f at Cairns. Likely improver with strong prospects. WINNING SAGA (10) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when seventh over 5f at this track. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better. LOBURN LASS (1) is back at the races for the first time since January 8. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5f at Oak Park. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
