ROCKABILLY REBEL (10) produced a solid effort last time when sixth over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside after she gave away a big start. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Ready to win. QUEEN OF MALWA (14) was never in contention when 6 lengths from the winner in 11th over 7f31yards at Werribee last start, a less impressive effort than her when resuming sixth at Cranbourne the run before. Likely improver with strong prospects. ARMSTRONG BAY (3) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 11 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 5½f at Colac. Finds a suitable assignment and can find the winner's circle. PALENTINE'S DAY (16) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/4f at Werribee, beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
