SAMANTH (9) raced on the speed from the outset when resuming last start and finished second, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 4f190yards at Swan Hill. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. BRIDIE'S LUCK (5) returns from a lay-off of seven months and did win when resuming last time in work over 5f at Wagga. Makes plenty of appeal. LOVING MANDY (8) closed last prep eight months ago when she finished sixth over 5f at Caulfield Heath. One of the main contenders.
