MISCHINKA (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just eight wins from 80 starts. Did a good job last start to finish second over 1m at Benalla, beaten 1.75 lengths. Best figures measure up nicely. Makes plenty of appeal. SELLENTE (3) stepped up in trip to 1m2f last time at Ballarat and ran below his best, finishing 5.5 lengths away in fifth. Appeals back in trip this time so is expected to be in the finish. SPACE ACADEMY (4) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when sixth, beaten 6 lengths, over 7f at Gundagai. Has the talent to find the winners' list. OKRA (11) closed off strongly last start to get up for third, beaten half a length, over 1m at Corowa. Settles back early but winds up late. Solid claims on best form.
