LINAS REEL (3) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 1m at Ballarat. Nicely placed to go one better. ACESALLROUND (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 1m at Mortlake, beaten 5 lengths into fifth. Facing a tougher assignment but he is worth another chance. DEELER (2) continues to improve and should be at his peak now after finishing in the money at Traralgon over 1m1 1/2f last time. Big chance to shed the maiden tag. WEEKEND LOVER (6) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 6 lengths away in seventh over 1m2f at Seymour. Nicely placed to find some form.
