EL BEATLE (1) showed early speed from a good draw and led until entering the straight last start, eventually holding on for second and beaten 0.8 lengths over 5½f at Pakenham Synthetic. Will go forward again and looks tough to beat. ISADAMI (4) returns after four months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a ninth over 5f at this track. Bold showing expected. MARTINDALE DANCER (5) is a five-start maiden who finished fifth, beaten 7 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Kempsey. Can come on from that run and looks a serious contender. SARAYA (8) is a filly by Headwater out of Lucky Kitty making her first appearance. In the placings at the most recent trial under this rider Andrew Gibbons. Worth keeping safe.
