SOARING PHOENIX (8) tackled city class latest when eighth at Randwick, finishing 3 lengths from the winner. Solid record at this distance with two wins and one placing from four runs and is expected to be in the finish. SACRED DELAGO (7) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish fourth, beaten 0.8 lengths, when returning after a lay-off last start over 5f at this track. Well placed and expected to feature. CRIMSON BONNET (12) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5f at Scone, beaten 0.8 lengths. Will benefit from that outing. Suitably placed so anticipating another strong effort.
