CAXTON LASS (4) registered her first win when resuming last start over 5f at this track, getting home by a nose. Re-unites with Bailey Wheeler who was on board last start. Can go right on with the job now. ARAMINTA (3) drifted back from her wide draw last time then hit the line hard to finish third at Ipswich over 6¾f. Generally performs well here and has registered four minor placings. Will prove tough to beat. FIREBOLT (7) is back from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 6f at Gold Coast Poly. Fitter for a eighth in a recent trial over 5f at Gold Coast. Winning chance while fresh. TEESANDCEES APPLY (12) is back from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Closed last prep with a second, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 1m1f at this track. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Deserves serious consideration.
