STAR ACT (4) finished third two runs back at Ipswich then improved last time out to score by 0.7 lengths as favourite over 6¾f at Ipswich. Finds a tougher race but she has the talent to test this line-up. CASROCK (6) finished fifth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6¾f at Ipswich, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to figure in the finish. LIETUVA (7) scored an impressive win by 3.5 lengths when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 6f at Gold Coast Poly. Fitter for that last hitout and can go on with it. MERCHANT LADY (9) has accrued two minor placings from three runs this campaign. Finished 2 lengths from the winner in third at the latest outing over 7f at Orange. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
