CAXTON LASS (7) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of five-and-a-half months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 6f at Doomben. Opened last prep with a minor placing at this track over 6f. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Doomben trial. Has ability and sure to prove tough to beat. VESPER LYND (11) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 5f at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within her grasp. ENUFF PILLS (8) was prominent at the corner and ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 5f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Meets a stronger field but she is good enough to figure in the finish. EQUINE ART (9) finished second last time over 5½f at Gatton when resuming from a lay-off, beaten a long neck. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race.
