AMIGO (1) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and is having his first outing under new trainer Kelly Schweida. Finished fifth at Caulfield over 5f at the opening run last time in work. Placed in a recent trial. Plenty to like about his prospects. FAIRWAY CHOICE (2) is a promising type who finished in the placings over 7f at Grafton at her last appearance on February 17. Sharpened for this with a recent trial win. Has a perfect when resuming record from two starts. Backmarker who keeps coming. Best form puts her right in this. CRESSBROOK (6) is coming off a determined win last start over 5½f at Gatton a week-and-a-half ago. Down in the weights this time so he shapes as one to consider. NEW HAMPSHIRE (7) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at Gold Coast Poly two starts back then landed the prize by one length last time out over 5½f at Sunshine Coast Poly. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
