DARK CHILL (4) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at Sunshine Coast Poly with success as favourite over 1m at this track two weeks ago, getting home by 2.75 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. AIDEN (2) was handy on straightening and went on to finish second last start over 1m1 1/2f at Gold Coast Poly, beaten one length. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. SMART AS SMART (7) has been kept fresh since winning over 1m1/4f at Ipswich. Kept up to the mark with a recent Eagle Farm trial. Rates well on best form and a bold showing is expected. HILLCREST AVENUE (1) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/4f at Doomben, beaten 2.25 lengths into fifth. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
