PERSPIRATION (2) impressed last time with a 2.5 lengths win at Mornington over this journey. Is yet to miss the frame from three starts this campaign, including a win. Expected to be in the finish. ALTHOFF (8) turned in a solid run on debut last start, beaten 0.7 lengths into second at Rosehill over 5½f. Has plenty of upside so a big run is anticipated. FROEBEL STAR (14) accounted for a maiden field over 6½f at Warwick Farm last start, finishing a nose ahead of the nearest rival. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Harder here but should be involved in the finish. IMPERIAL FORCE (6) strode forward early from his wide draw to settle just off the lead last start then lifted to score by 4 lengths at Canterbury over 6¼f. Tougher company here but is ready for the challenge.
