BONNET ROUGE (6) raced once in the maiden campaign when fifth at Sandown-Lakeside over 6f back on December 6. Expected to be very competitive. GATOR (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5f at Pakenham, beaten 2.5 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Has the talent to produce another positive result. BRIER (1) finished 2.5 lengths from the winner in sixth last start over 5f at Pakenham, an improvement on his ninth at Pakenham the run before. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. OUR SILVER LININGS (10) is yet to break through after five starts but not far off a win. Placed in a then missed the frame but was thereabouts last time over 6f at Yarra Valley. The blinkers go on. This looks a nice race for her.
