OPERA BELLE (8) returned from a break of six months with a solid sixth last start at Bendigo over 1m when she was handy all the way. Scored at her only try at this trip. Winning chance. YES SIR ICANBOOGIE (9) was comfortably accounted for when eighth last time out over 1m4 1/2f at Moonee Valley, beaten 4.5 lengths. That followed a win at Pakenham at the previous outing. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. WIESENBACH (12) was thereabouts last time out when second at Moe over 1m4f, beaten 1.5 lengths. Will appreciate the drop in grade. One to consider. WEALDSTONE (4) hit the frame two starts ago at Pakenham but ran below par last time when 11th and beaten 9 lengths over 1m at Pakenham. Nicely placed to bounce back.
