DIO (1) was never in contention when 6 lengths from the winner in tenth over 5½f at Ballarat last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Caulfield Heath the run before. Has the ability to figure prominently. REGAL MIGHT (6) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on July 20 finishing 12th and beaten 8 lengths over 7f at Flemington. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. MILO (5) saluted last start at Mornington over this distance after he gave away a big start. Has a strong record at this trip, scoring two times from four starts. Has to be included. SEA POEM (12) won on debut last time out three-and-a-half weeks ago over 6f22yards at Geelong, getting home by half a length. One of the leading contenders.
