BELLARCHI (2) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing when prominent at the bend, finishing 5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 7f at Wodonga. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to mix it with them. ENTRUSTING (15) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 10 lengths back in seventh over 6½f at Sandown-Lakeside five months ago. Sharpened for this with a placing in a recent trial. Bold showing expected. MISS LOTTIE (10) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Moonee Valley over 6f. Drawn for a nice run just off the speed. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. EIGHT GORILLAS (13) was lining up for just the second time last start when fourth over 5½f at Caulfield Heath, beaten 6 lengths. Sits handy in the run. Among the chances this time.
