AKI (2) is yet to break through in nine runs. Finished sixth at his last appearance over 1m at Terang on August 15. Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. FUWARI (12) was beaten for early speed on debut last start but hit the line nicely to get up for third over 7f at this track. Has plenty of upside so she will prove tough to beat. CLEOPATRA LINK (8) was in contention all the way and fought on for second last start over 1m2 1/2f at Benalla, making it two minor placings in a row. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. CHEMEHUEVI (3) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 8 lengths when eighth in a 1m contest at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task.
