MAX N' LOU (1) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 8 lengths when eighth over 1m at Del Mar a month ago. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. EARNED NOT GIVEN (4) has not raced since his debut on August 18 over 1m at Del Mar (Turf) when he finished seventh, beaten 5.5 lengths. Much better for that run and can get off the mark this time. UNRIVALED HERO (3) was well in commission when resuming last start over 1m at Los Alamitos (Dirt) when fifth, beaten 31 lengths. Fitter and the blinkers come off. One of the main hopes. HEPHEPCUTDOWNNETS (8) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time over 5½f at Pleasanton (Dirt) when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 3 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing.
