SUPERIOR ZARA (8) has been racing well this prep, scoring last start over 6½f at Bendigo to make it two wins from four runs this time in. Takes on a tougher assignment but she is a leading contender. Group 2 placegetter EXTREME THREAT (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track, beaten 4 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Strips fitter and can find the winner's circle. SKIPJACK (9) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5f at Flemington, beaten 1.3 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. PREVAILED (7) ran below expectations last start, finishing ninth and beaten 8 lengths at Bendigo over 6½f. Suitably placed so expecting a better run this time.
