AMIGO (9) drifted back and never threatened when 11th last start over 5f at Flemington. The engagement of Luke Nolen is a positive move. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. CADBOLL (1) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish sixth over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic. One of the main contenders. CHEVAL CHIC (11) was in the firing line on the bend and finished third last time over 6f at this track, beaten 0.7 lengths. Nicely placed to play a major role.
